At Sage Field, we believe the most beautiful things grow when a community grows together. Our hope is that every family leaves feeling even more connected to nature, to our school, and to one another.

We kindly invite each family to bring at least one plant to help our community garden grow! Every flower, herb, fruit, or vegetable planted will become part of a garden built with love by our Sage Field families.

Every time our children harvest a tomato, smell fresh basil, or pick a flower, they'll remember that this garden was built with love by the families who call Sage Field home.

Gardening, place value, a community garden event, and a Construction Zone Field Friday to close the week.

Week two of our 2026–27 school year is complete. From our primary classroom through upper elementary, students studied seeds and soil, built place value foundations, painted garden-inspired art, cooked together, and celebrated with families at our community garden event.

Meet the Team

Lead Teacher & Director

Sabrina Grace Obnamia

Ms. Sabrina brings a wealth of experience to Sage Field. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Development from Biola University and a Teaching Credential. Her background includes working with children in a wide range of roles both in the U.S. and internationally—spanning special education, preschool, homeschooling, tutoring, coaching, traditional schooling, nature school guide, and more. She values movement, outdoor learning, and most importantly, the joy of slowing down to be present, intentional, and thankful.

Together, we bring warmth, creativity, and experience to every student's learning experience. We are committed to continuing the supportive atmosphere families have come to trust.

Joy Paige

Primary Lead Teacher

Ms. Joy is a passionate early childhood educator with experience in a Reggio Emilia-inspired microschool, where she worked closely with children through hands-on learning experiences in gardening, engineering, art, literacy, and science. She is dedicated to creating environments where children feel confident, curious, and empowered to take ownership of their learning. With a degree in Religious Studies from The University of Texas at El Paso, Ms. Joy brings a love of storytelling, history, and meaningful connections into the classroom.

Lower Elementary Teacher

Hello, Sage Field families!! My name is Zelinda and I am so excited to be a part of this incredible team. I have a deep love for children and a heart for nurturing their growth in a safe and encouraging environment. I look forward to supporting each child's learning journey and being a positive presence in their day.

Nicole Elias

Summer Program Coordinator

My name is Nicole, and I am a teacher with a passion for hands-on, experiential learning. I believe every child deserves an education that sparks curiosity and joy. I am excited to bring creative, nature-inspired curriculum to our summer program and help children discover the world around them.

Taylor Elias

Summer Program Coordinator

My name is Taylor, and I recently completed my education studies with a focus on child development and outdoor learning. I am passionate about creating meaningful experiences for children that connect them to nature and inspire a love of learning. I am thrilled to join the Sage Field team this summer.

Julius Cecilia

Director of Operations & Technology

Julius Cecilia, a University of Washington graduate, is a software engineer and startup builder with experience across early-stage startups and established tech companies like Adobe. He previously co-founded a sports social platform and continues to build software at the intersection of technology and schools.
