Sage Field is a small outdoor learning microschool located in Round Rock, TX. Sage Field operates as a private microschool, not a child-care or daycare center. We blend elements of Montessori, Waldorf, and Reggio Emilia philosophies with TEKS-aligned academics to create a nurturing, nature-connected learning environment where children are always wondering, exploring, and growing.

Week 5 is complete — and it was one for the books. Here's a glimpse at what our students experienced.
Week 5 was one for the books. New kids joined, sand was delivered, and the mud kitchen doubled in size. Primary students explored animal architects, dove into snakes by student request, and made their own egg bites and popsicles. Elementary students made inferences, tackled division with hands-on manipulatives, launched natural disaster research projects, and capped the week with four hours of full Safari Adventure — bingo, animal masks, and a scavenger hunt.
